| Notes | The car was purchased from some guy who said he was a test driver for Shelby. The motor is a Corvette 327 and was built by Crain Cams & Smokey Unick. To be quite honest the car is way over powered and is dificult to drive on the street. It is scary fast. I have upgraded the braking and hydraulic cluch systems with C.N.C. Brand equipment, this is the same stuff they use in NASCAR. The biggest problem I have with the car is that it chews up trannys. I think the Corvar box is the weakest link. Does any on know who can build me a bullet proof transmission for this car? The car is cool because of its stunning looks, loud headers and is quicker from 0 to 100 than any other car or motorcycle I have raced to date. If I can get a trans that will hang, I would consider some vintage racing. I have considered selling the car more than once, it is one of those love hate realationships. However, after I go for a little drive it seems worth it sort of. |
