| Notes | This car was constructed by the Manta factory, with the suspension designed and constructed by John Collins. It was going to be Manta's "Super Manta" for use at automobile shows, etc. The engine is a 350CID fuel injected Chevy which has only about 2 hours use---the chassis has only about 4 hours use, the vehicle having been in storage for most of its life. The all independent suspension is modeled after the McLaren M6 Can-Am car and features Koni adustable shocks. Disc brakes all around. There are two sets of wheels, both Jongbloed modulars. One set is for garage use, the other set is mounted with new Goodyear Eagle slicks. The car at the moment is not streetable because of the 180 degree unmuffled exhaust, but could be made street legal without much trouble. And it is very, very fast! It is for sale at $42,500. |
